The next Z4 will be hard folding roof and possibly the V8 M3

We have already seen spy photos, so the news that the next generation of the BMW Z4 will be equipped with a retractable hard roof is not big surprise. The mules being tested show that the vehicle has a unit consisting of two pieces of metal that should fit perfectly inside the trunk, but not subtract much cargo space.

More importantly, the new BMW Z4 will have several options including engine plants four six-cylinder, which include the beloved and desired biturbo of 3.0 liters that moves to 135i, 335i and 535i. Additionally, AutoExpress reports that a diesel engine will also be part of the bid for the first time for the BMW Z4. This unit would be a 4.0 L V8 similar to that of M3.

BMW looks back with M1 Hommage

BMW X6 exhibits a holographic in New York
